This week, we discuss Shallow Hal, starring Jack Black and Gwyneth Paltrow. We establish that beauty is subjective, we agree that Jack Black is extremely likable, and we nail down the central problem with the Farrelly brothers' thesis. Also, you may have noticed that we got episode 4 and 5 mixed up. Shallow Hal should have been before 500 Days. Sorry!

This week, we discuss 500 Days of Summer, starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Zooey Deschanel. We have Spicy Dave as our very special guest, and we dig into some sweet karaoke, twee everything, and how easy it is to miss the point of this movie (Justin).

This week we discuss the merits and faults of sharing underwear, Sarah's love of skinny dipping, and Justin's love of 90's fashion. Also, Sarah's husband makes a guest appearance to share a special piece of memorabilia and a celebrity encounter.

This episode includes our first special guest, self-professed real-life Josie Grossie, Taryn! We dive into how Michael Vartan’s hotness makes the movie’s premise more believable, but how inherently creepy it is to lie about your identity to relive high school (and then have your teacher fall in love with you). We also discuss our own high school popularity, barn parties, sex ed, and teen dance clubs.

In our first episode ever, we discuss the wedding romcom 27 Dresses, starring Katherine Heigl and James Marsden. As we figure out how much the movie fits into the conventional romcom genre, we discuss Heigl's mental state, ideas for a sequel, Justin's drunk plans, and Sarah's husband literally stabbing Justin in the back.
